NEWS: Colorado activated RHP Germán Márquez from the 60-day injured list and in a corresponding move sent RHP Angel Chivilli to AA-Hartford Yard Goats.

BHQ SPIN: Márquez is back after his Tommy John surgery in May 2023. He pitched 4 innings on 7/14 and gave up 3 runs, 5 hits, and 4 walks while striking out three. Historically, Márquez has been a solid pitcher for Colorado, with a career xERA of 3.84, but pitching in Colorado generally keeps his ERA about a half run higher. Nonetheless, he will be a welcome addition to a struggling pitching staff.
