NEWS: Mike Clevinger could be the team’s preferred first option to close out games.

BHQ SPIN: Manager Will Venable mentioned that the team could multiple relievers for save chances, but singled out Mike Clevinger specifically. Even though Clevinger has spent almost all of his career in the rotation, he provides the most proven MLB experience of their other stopper options as well as the big velocity and swing and miss many covet as a ninth-inning option.
