DAILY MATCHUPS: Wheeler among many rated in the green

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: The final Wednesday of the first half has 16 games on the docket. Every team will play, and that goes double for the Mariners and Nationals who will tangle in two along the Anacostia River. Save for top-rated Shane McClanahanwho draws a home start against the Red Sox, Wednesday’s ratings land hard on quality right-handers. A lot of No. 1 and No. 2 hurlers have starts at home in winnable games, and the Matchup Ratings are lit green a good way down. Wednesday’s weather reports call for mostly dry conditions. A cooled-off Wrigley Field (BAL-CHC) is expected to have a double-digit breeze helping the men on the mound.

Notable Starts:

Lucas Giolito has allowed 4 ER or more in five of his last eight...
