DAILY MATCHUPS: Reds' Castillo finding his form

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: A typical 15-game Sunday slate. DET@NYY is the morning matinee; STL@CHC the lone night game. Everything else starts between 1:35pm and 4:10pm ET. There are no obvious weather concerns today.

Notable Starts:

Luis Castillo missed April due to injury, and had a pretty solid May (3.38 ERA/3.15 xERA). He appeared to be gaining strength throughout the month, peaking with his 6 IP, 0 ER, 10 K outing in Boston last start, which also featured his best velocity of the year (97) and an impressive 19 swinging strikes. His home start against the Nats is a much more favorable outing than that Boston appearance, and makes him a top choice today.
