DAILY MATCHUPS: López in line for another dominating start

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather. We have a full day of action on tap, starting with the Rockies and Cubs in a Wrigley matinee. The weather looks good around the league, and we should have no issues getting the games to play. Pitching is suspect today, and there are at least six games with run totals of nine or more and more totals still to come as some starting pitching situations have yet to be announced.

Pablo López allowed five runs in his last start while striking out eight White Sox. Lopez had been great before that, and over his previous 11 starts, he had a 2.42 ERA, 2.97 xFIP with 76 strikeouts over 67 innings pitched with a 22.7% K-BB. Lopez has a juicy matchup versus an Angels team that has struck out 28%...
