DAILY MATCHUPS: Kershaw is Wednesday’s best option

As a way to preview the day's games, the 2015 Daily Matchups column seeks to highlight the outliers or notable matchups on the HQ Pitcher Matchup tool (also available as an 8-day scan). For more information on how to leverage the report, see our research article from 2012.

(Note that for the first couple of weeks of the season, the data driving these charts is from 2014. Once we have banked three weeks or so of games in 2015, the charts will move to this year's data.)

Today’s schedule overview:  All 30 teams will be in action on Wednesday. TEX-at-ARI will serve as the league’s lone AL/NL game. Colder-than-normal late-April temperatures are expected at many Wednesday venues, but precipitation is forecasted to be minimal.
