DAILY MATCHUPS: Kershaw takes on Reds in Thursday matinee

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: A dozen games are on the adjusted MLB schedule for Thursday. That action includes a White Sox-at-Yankees doubleheader after a haze-and-smoke postponement of a Wednesday night contest at Yankee Stadium. (That same issue, generated by wildfires in Quebec, could still hamper plans for Thursday and is a situation worth watching.) Elsewhere, the Denver area is expecting more than a 50% chance of rain: keep an eye on SF-COL.  A 13 mph batter’s breeze – out to right-center – is in the forecast for Thursday night’s CHC-LAA tilt. The bell curve for Thursday’s ratings is crowded in the middle.
