DAILY MATCH-UPS: Rodriguez looks to continue second-half surge

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Tuesday’s slate includes 16 games. All 30 teams will be in action, and the Nationals and Phillies will get things going in the 4 o’clock hour (ET) as the only day game.  The rest of the contests will be held under the lights, and that includes a second WAS-PHI game as those two make up for a water-logged Monday. The distribution of ratings is one which is thick in the middle. At first glance, quite a few judgment calls will need to be made past the top several options. Mostly seasonable temperatures are called for in the weather report. Tuesday sets up as a wet one, although just one game – KC at BOS – stands out with more than a spotty percentage chance of rain.
