Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There is a full slate of 15 games on this Monday schedule. First pitch comes at 6:40pm ET with the Pirates hosting the Tigers. There is a small chance of rain in the CHW@TAM game, however all other games look clear.
Notable Starts:
Tanner Bibee made a start in Baltimore against the Orioles back in April where he gave up three HR in a PQS-2. While that start came on the road, he has been much better at home where he has a 2.57 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in seven starts. The opposing Orioles are scoring just 3.4 runs per game in July where they have a .226 BA and .655 OPS. Bibee has been excellent in 11 career starts on six or more days rest (as this one), going 6-1 with a 1.84 ERA and 1.08 WHIP.
