Early Roto 500 Team Management

As we move into the second month of the season, there’s now a free agent track record in Roto500 leagues that can be reviewed. Of particular importance to this gaming format is the unique rule governing the FAAB budget. Owners with little or no FAAB budget can reclaim the salary of players on their current team by releasing them into the pool. Once a player is formally released, the owner is then able to add that salary back (minus the salary of the replacement player) into his available FAAB for subsequent weeks. While this doesn’t affect week one claims, it makes roster management an increasingly dynamic process.
