ROTISSERIE: Roto500 — New Rules, New Strategies

If you haven’t been following the evolution of the new Roto500 gaming format, here is a quick update:

  • The Year One leagues ran in New York and Toronto in 2011 with the majority of owners providing positive feedback and expressing an interest in returning for Year Two.
  • Based on the Year One owner’s feedback, a number of rule changes were discussed with a few tweaks being implemented for the new 2012 constitution. Included in these changes were an increase in the number of auction calls, a staging of the calls into two tiers, mandatory 40 man rosters and the elimination of auction toppers.
  • Second year auctions have been set for April 14th in Toronto and March 24 in New York. Both leagues will be a continuation of the first...
