In part 1 of this series, we considered the issues of tanking and related dump trades in keeper/dynasty leagues. It is understandable that the topic stirred up some emotions, because dump trades are a sensitive issue, often at the center of much consternation in rotisserie league competition. However, I don’t believe that dump trades are the problem. They are only a symptom of the underlying problem, which can occur in any league—even re-draft leagues. The issue I am speaking of is a lack of engagement.
