RELIEVERS—Chapman trade fallout and COL, BOS, WAS

This week, the Yankees traded Aroldis Chapman (LHP, CHC) to the Cubs for four (!) players, including two top prospects. This column will start there and then look at some other teams who may buy or sell before this weekend's deadline.

The Cubs paid a king's ransom to get Chapman from the Yankees. This came on the heels of the acquisition of Mike Montgomery (LHP, CHC) from Seattle. Needless to say, the Cubs are stocking the cupboard for high-leverage capability from the left side for the stretch run and playoffs. Here is what the current array of Cubs relievers have done over the 30 days leading up to the trade:
