MARKET PULSE: The land of small samples

Small samples abound in this edition of the Pulse. Keep that in mind as you read anything written here that concerns 2013 performance. Yet in our ongoing hunt for free agent gold, we do need to try to spot the nuggets hidden in these samples in order to be a step ahead of other GMs. That's what we'll try to do here.
