BATTERS: PX/xPX under- and over-performers

Last week the Batter Buyers Guide used a comparison of BA and xBA values to highlight some potential batting average risers and fallers. This week, we turn our attention to the sluggers as we compare PX and Expected PX (xPX) values in an attempt to isolate some potential power darkhorses as well as to expose some fast starters whose production is poised to taper off.
PX scores are derived by accounting for actual extra base hits while xPX takes into account the quality of contact. A player's results may yield a healthy PX, but xPX attempts to filter out the element of luck and focus on the hard contact that's more indicative of an owned skill.
