With Logan White as Scouting Director, the organization churned out prospect after prospect. They not only had depth of talent, but were able to secure and develop elite level talent. During the troubled years of the McCourt ownership, the once-vaunted system was gutted and then neglected as the club attempted to fix bigger problems at the major league level.
