These spring days seem infinitely longer without baseball. I have enjoyed some aspects of the pandemic quarantine. Of course, the extra time at home with my wife has been a blessing. As much as I have enjoyed planting a garden, I do not get nearly as much enjoyment out of it than I do working in baseball.
Time away has led to reflection. Reflection always brings forth ideas. Ideas turn into research, which eventually turn into articles. My latest idea was a doozy.
