MINORS: The Eyes have it—Fernando Romero, Angels prospect notes

The opening week of the minor league season is unpredictable. With rosters never shaking out the way I'd want or weather not cooperating, I usually scramble for coverage. This year is no different. While the weather was on my side, the rosters failed to deliver everything I hoped. In fact, one of the rosters had no prospect to feature. Mobile (Double-A Angels) was low on MLB talent. So I was forced to rely on the other team for quality players to feature.

Chattanooga (Double-A Twins) is one of the better teams on paper in the Southern League. However, two of their top prospects were placed on the DL to start the season. LHP Stephen Gonsalves (Scouting Report) is expected back in a couple weeks after dealing with a shoulder issue....
