Before begin called up this week, we last saw Wei-Chung Wang when he was a Rule 5 draftee in 2014 for the Brewers. He appeared in 14 games for the big-league club that year, and while he put up so-so skill numbers (6.8 Dom, 4.2 Ctl), the surface results were predictably bad (10.90 ERA, 2.192 WHIP) for an arm that had not been above rookie ball. Down he went to the minors and there he has been since, this year transitioning full-time to the bullpen. The 6'2", 185-pound lefty has taken quite well to his new role.
