The Twins will recall the 24-year-old from Triple-A and will make his major league debut with a start on Saturday, August 9 against Oakland. May was selected in the 2008 draft by the Phillies before being dealt to Minnesota in December 2012. He could’ve been with the big league club earlier had it not been for a calf injury that caused him to miss a few starts. He has an ideal power pitcher frame and can be dominant at times with his impressive, albeit inconsistent, arsenal.
