After his best pro season to date, the Cardinals have promoted the 22-year-old backstop to the majors. Kelly was drafted as a 3B in 2012, but was moved behind the plate prior to 2014 due to his exceptional arm strength. He found the demands of the position much to his liking and has excelled with the glove ever since the move. The bat has been slow to develop until this year.
