Justin Miller (RHP, DET)
In an effort to add depth to the overtaxed bullpen, the Tigers promoted the 26-year-old from Triple-A. His first appearance in the majors will be his big league debut. Miller has spent his entire career in the bullpen. He was drafted by Texas in the 16th round of ’08 and was later released in September ’13. He was quickly signed by Detroit a few weeks later. Miller hasn’t pitched much over the last two seasons due to Tommy John surgery and the subsequent rehab. He only pitched 27 innings in ’13 after missing the entire ’12 campaign.
