SPECULATOR: "Buy high" candidates

For several years running now, at this time of year we have been looking at "buy high" or "sell low" candidates. In short, for this week's "buy high" list, we're identifying players who, if their owner is looking to execute a "sell high" move based on their hot start to 2013, we would explore acquiring the player. In short, we have confidence in these player sustaining something akin to their current performance over the balance of the season. The trick, of course, is finding a mutually agreeable price. But in theory, these are the players where there might be an intersection of the current owner's sell price and your buy price.

National League
