The Diamondbacks faced pitchers from both sides of the rubber in their opening series of the season against San Diego. Aside from being no hit deep into the first two of those matchups, other notable trends emerged. Daulton Varsho (C/OF, ARI) will almost certainly get the majority of his starts in the outfield as opposed to catcher, as he was in the lineup as the center fielder in each of the team’s first three games.
