The July 24 acquisition of Kelly Johnson (1B/2B/3B/OF, NYM) and Juan Uribe (3B, NYM) from the Braves provides manager Terry Collins numerous options for the infield. How will Collins handle second base, shortstop and third base?

In the first two games since the trade, Johnson and Daniel Murphy (2B/3B, NYM) have started at second base and third base, respectively, with Rubén Tejada (SS, NYM) at shortstop. It should be noted that both games were against right-handed starters. One would imagine that Uribe will see action against southpaws and it would make sense for it to come at the expense of Murphy (.419 OPS and 24 PX in 69 AB vs. LHP in 2015; .659 OPS with 68 PX in 808 lifetime AB vs. LHP).
