Scott Kazmir looks like one of the AL's most like likely trade candidates over the next six weeks, but whether OAK's rotation—whose 3.00 ERA led the AL entering Monday—is capable of weathering that loss remains an open question. Sonny Gray is nearing ace status, while both Jesse Hahn (RHP, OAK)—3.40/3.74 ERA/xERA, 53% GB% through 85 IP—and Jesse Chavez (RHP, OAK)—2.52/3.46 ERA/xERA, 3.7 Cmd—have pitched well. And following his April struggles led to a demotion, Kendall Graveman (LHP, OAK) has returned to post a 2.28 ERA in the six starts since, surprising everyone with a Dom just a tick below 7 in the process.

But aside from Gray, all of these names have some things to prove as the season goes on. Both Hahn and Chavez...
