While the Red Sox may well hold out Dustin Pedroia (2B, BOS) until after the All-Star Break, his continued absence may be the only thing allowing Mike Napoli (1B, BOS) to hold onto his regular spot in the Red Sox lineup.

When Pedroia returns, it will free up manager John Farrell to deploy Brock Holt (3B, BOS) at first, something he may be more apt to do, now that Holt is less needed in right field.

Not only has Shane Victorino (OF, BOS) been activated from the disabled list, but Alejandro De Aza (OF, BOS) has been red hot at the plate, going 22-for-57 (.386) with 3 HR and 17 RBI in 16 games from June 16 through July 4. The two will share right field, though Victorino’s start July 4 against a RHP (Houston’s Collin McHugh)...
