PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Viciedo and de Aza to get full-time AB

There has been speculation about how the Sox will handle the season-ending injury to Avisaíl García (OF, CHW). In the first four games since Garcia’s injury both Dayan Viciedo (OF, CHW) and Alejandro De Aza (OF, CHW) were in the starting lineup. Manager Robin Ventura has stated that Viciedo would definitely be given the chance to play full-time. De Aza will also likely be a full-timer despite the call-up of Jordan Danks (OF, CHW). Danks will be the fourth outfielder and a late inning defensive replacement. Danks’ upside is limited. In over 1500 Triple-A plate appearances in parts of five seasons he hit only 37 HR and batted .265.

Viciedo is not owned in all leagues because of the earlier questions around his playing...
