NL West: Pages gets nod in CF, for now

With left-handed hitting OF James Outman optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City, it looks as if the Dodgers plan to go with OF Andy Pages as their starting CF until they deem 2B Hyeseong Kim ready to be promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City. The right-handed hitting Pages got the start in both games in Tokyo against left-handed starters for the Cubs. With the departure of Outman, the Dodgers don’t currently have any left-handed hitters on the major league roster who would make a platoon make sense. Pages will probably get the occasional day off against a tough righty, with IF/OF Tommy Edman moving from 2B to CF and IF Miguel Rojas or IF/OF Kiké Hernández getting the start at 2B.
