AL Central: Is Torkelson on verge of return?

Spencer Torkelson (1B, DET) is showing some positive signs at AAA-Toledo and could be on the verge of returning to the major league roster. Since July 23, the 24-year-old has slashed .320/.422/.722 with 5 HR and 20 RBI in 64 PA. 

Torkelson has a 62% ct% during that stretch and has been helped by a 38% h%, but he has also drawn 11 walks. He has shown better contact skills compared to his time in the majors, even this season when his .201 BA and .193 xBA were accompanied by a 73% ct%. 

Bligh Madris (1B, DET) is running hot at first base at the moment, but the sample is limited. His track record doesn't point to sustained success, as he entered the season with a .500 OPS in 195 career PA in MLB. If Torkelson continues to hit,...
