Twins summon deadline acquisitions to join rotation

NEWS: Minnesota has recalled deadline acquisitions RHP Mick Abel and RHP Taj Bradley to join rotation.

BHQ SPIN: Two of the prospects acquired during the Twins’ roster purge are on their way. Abel was the top pitching prospect picked up at the deadline. He started for MIN on Saturday after making three starts spanning 15.1 innings for St. Paul. He posted a 1.76 ERA with 23 K/6 BB during that time. Bradley, meanwhile, is scheduled to start Sunday. He also made three starts at AAA. He went 14.1 innings with a 7.53 ERA with 18 K/2 BB. Bradley has 354 IP in the majors under his belt with a 4.70 ERA.
