NEWS: The Dodgers signed free agent LHP Blake Snell to a five-year $182 million contract.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Snell joins what is expected to be a six-man Dodgers rotation that includes RHP Shohei Ohtani (P), RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto, RHP Tyler Glasnow, RHP Dustin May and RHP Tony Gonsolin. Free agent LHP Clayton Kershaw is expected to re-sign with the Dodgers and will be an additional option. All of these pitchers missed all or part of the 2024 season with injuries so the Dodgers will likely need to dip into their pool of talented starters at Triple-A Oklahoma City and Double-A Tulsa over the course of the season.
Snell missed the first month of the 2024 season after not signing with the Giants...
