Brewers | Will Smith has torn knee ligament
Milwaukee Brewers RP Will Smith (knee) said he has a torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee. Smith said he is waiting to see if he needs surgery on his knee or if he can rehab the injury without surgery.  Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Tom Haudricourt

BHQ take: Smith and Jeremy Jeffress recently had been named season-opening co-closers, so this injury will increase Jeffress' save opportunities. Jeffress' improved Ctl allowed him to record his first season of 3.0 Cmd in 2015. His back-to-back 100+ BPVs in 2014-15 suggest closer-worthy skills.
