NEWS: Kansas City agreed to terms with RHP Zack Greinke on a one-year contract.

BHQ SPIN: Greinke returns to Kansas City and will slot into the team’s rotation whenever he is healthy. The addition of Greinke leaves two spots up for grabs in Kansas City’s rotation. In all likelihood, Kansas City will enter spring training with a competition for these two spots between Daniel Lynch, Ryan Yarbrough, Brad Keller, Kris Bubic, Jonathan Heasley, Jackson Kowar, Max Castillo, and Angel Zerpa. Lynch, who was a mainstay in the team’s 2022 rotation, was seen as a lock to make the team’s rotation before the signings of Greinke and Jordan Lyles, but will now have to earn his spot in spring...
