Updating a previous report, St. Louis Cardinals 1B Allen Craig (foot) was diagnosed with a mild foot sprain, and he will not play at all this weekend. He'll be re-evaluated next week.  Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Derrick Goold
 
BHQ take: Matt Adams hopes his two-HR game September 4th will get him out of his slump. Since July 1st, he's hit .228 (114 AB) with a 73% ctt%, 0.39 Eye and a sub-100 PX. This includes regular ABs in mid- thru late-July when Matt Holliday was on the DL.  —Mike Shears
