Kremer a likely fill-in for Eflin

NEWS: Baltimore placed RHP Zach Eflin on the 15-Day IL with right elbow discomfort 
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Eflin appeared to be healthy entering the season after successful surgery for the back injury that hampered him for much of last season. However, in his first start of the season on Tuesday, he left the game due to elbow discomfort. The severity of Eflin’s elbow injury should be known in the coming days as results of the MRI that he underwent on Wednesday become available. To take Eflin’s spot on the active roster, Baltimore promoted Albert Suárez to fill a long-relief role in the team’s bullpen. The current expectation is that Dean Kremer will eventually take Eflin’s spot in the rotation....
