NEWS: Kansas City acquired 2B/OF Adam Frazier from Pittsburgh in exchange for IF Cam Devanney.

BHQ SPIN: The veteran utilityman Frazier will return to Kansas City, where he is expected to fill a part-time role mixing in at second base and left field. While Frazier’s offensive performance (.255/.318/.336 in 262 PA) has been uninspiring this year, he still could get a significant share of at-bats given Kansas City’s lack of other viable options. Frazier will take the place of Devanney, who did not appear in a game after being called up when Mark Canha hit the IL, on the team’s active roster.
