Josh Lowe back for Rays

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Tampa Bay Rays
NEWS: OF Josh Lowe celebrated his return from the 10-day injured list with a home run May 15.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Lowe’s return to the lineup — at least against right-handed pitchers — likely most affects OF Christopher Morel. Morel (.181 xBA, 57% ct%) had already begun to lose playing time prior to Lowe’s return, and his opportunities for the foreseeable future may be limited to starts against left-handed pitching, as Chandler Simpson, Kameron Misner and Lowe handle outfield duties against righties more often than not. To make room on the roster for Lowe, OF Travis Jankowski (groin) swapped places with him on the IL.
