NEWS: The Toronto Blue Jays agreed to a 3-year, $33M contract with RHP Jeff Hoffman.

BHQ SPIN: There were rumors that Hoffman was interested in converting to a new role as a starting pitcher, but all indications are that he is the front runner for saves in Toronto. For Hoffman this is a reunion with a Jays franchise who drafted him in the first round of the 2014 draft. The turning point in his career came in 2023 when the 32 year-old  converted to the bullpen full time. Hoffman’s velocity jumped and with that his K% ticked into the elite +30% range fully supported by a +15% SwK%.
