Guardians place Cobb on IL, Cantillo likely to stick in rotation

NEWS: Cleveland placed RHP Alex Cobb on the 15-Day IL and recalled RHP Andrew Walters from AAA-Columbus.

BHQ SPIN: After being scratched from a start on Saturday due to a blister, Cobb was placed on the IL on Thursday and will not be able to return until the season's final week. Cobb’s absence is likely to extend Joey Cantillo’s stay in the Guardians’ rotation. After Cleveland shuffled their rotation to cover for Cobb missing Saturday’s start, Cantillo drew a start on Monday and has since remained on the team’s active roster.
