NEWS: Dodgers SS Mookie Betts suffered a broken left wrist after being hit by a pitch and is expected to  be placed on the 10-day IL on Monday, June 17. The Dodgers are expected to call up IF/OF Miguel Vargas from Triple-A Oklahoma City to take Betts’ spot on the roster.

BHQ SPIN: According to manager Dave Roberts, Betts (-30% PT) will not need surgery, but is expected to be “out for some time” as reported by Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times. IF Miguel Rojas (+30% PT) is expected to see the majority of starts at SS, where he made 121 appearances last season for the Dodgers.
