NEWS: Baltimore reinstated C/DH Samuel Basallo from the 10-Day IL and optioned IF/OF Jeremiah Jackson to AAA-Norfolk.

BHQ SPIN: Basallo returned to Baltimore’s lineup on Wednesday and figures to see regular at-bats, though he could sit against some left-handed starters. As was noted in the most recent AL East PT Tomorrow, based on comments by GM Mike Elias, Basallo may see half or less of his playing time at catcher, with the remainder coming at designated hitter or first base.
