Short slate is relatively long on quality options

Ed. note: you may notice an overall shift in the Matchup Scores today. In reviewing the early-season data, we realized that the opposing offense component of the Matchup Score was being calculated over the wrong sample size (7 days, when it should have been 31 days). The formula has been adjusted and all of the upcoming scores re-calculated.

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Thursday's slate includes seven games. Only three of those will be under the lights, although some wet weather could flip some lamps on during a couple day games as well (rainy weather could impact ARI-CIN, SF-COL, HOU-NYY, and CLE-CHW). The Matchup Ratings tease out a decent number of green-light lineup candidates: 30% K Pablo López leads the way.
