Part 1 of this Santana Plan series provided some background about the Santana Plan and discussed the Santana Plan anchors entering the 2023 season. Today, we’ll consider several other starting pitchers.

This article attempts to apply the same Santana Plan concepts, ideally looking for skills and durability over a two-year period while recognizing that today’s pitchers will fall short of these ideals. We’ll start with the guys who are being drafted high but are not Santana Plan anchors. Then we’ll look for other starting pitchers that the market may be substantially undervaluing.
