The CDM Diamond Challenge is a 5x5 rotisserie game where player salaries are fixed and determined by the vendor. An active roster can never have a salary greater than $30 million. A team is comprised of two players at catcher and each infield position, six outfielders, two designated hitters (any position), six starting pitchers, three relievers, and a tenth pitcher of any type. Each team also has a taxi squad of twelve players of any position.
During the course of the season, an owner may drop up to 16 players to update a roster, and there are two additional drops near the end of the season (“September callups”).
