What a difference a year makes.
I was watching a Red Sox game the other night, because it seemed like a better idea than cleaning out the garage. Also, I had three Boston players in Tout Wars: 2B Dustin Pedroia, DH David Ortiz and 1B Mike Napoli.
During the game, the broadcasters showed a graphic detailing the sub-par performances of Pedroia and Ortiz—news that came as no surprise to me.
I had picked these three batters because I regarded them as reliable fantasy producers, well worth my $20-$30 investments. Of course, they have all been woefully short of delivering value. Ortiz has produced around $15 and Pedroia and Napoli have combined for $14 more.
