Back in November at First Pitch Arizona, I asked 12 experts to participate in a different type of mock draft.
Rather than select players who will put up the best numbers in 2013, I asked them to select players that they would have to commit to owning for five full seasons. These players would have to remain on their roster in 2013 straight through 2017.
What was the purpose of this exercise? For those of us who play in keeper leagues, I often wonder if we have a true sense of the value of players on our rosters.
