I suspect that 2012 FAAB budgets are going to be depleted faster than any time in history.
It's been another week of chasing the popular bullpen flavor. It's been another week of random spaghetti-tossing at call-ups and bench-sitters as a dozen more players hit the DL. We have no clue what to bid because we have no idea how long these new players are going to keep their jobs. And odds are this volatility is not going to slow down any time soon.
It's because of phenomena like this that I keep looking for a different method of free agent acquisition.
